Thanks to Paul & Andre from Fujifilm Belgium, I had the opportunity to test the GFX 50S for a week. During this week several children have sit in front of the GF 110mmF2 lens, that came with the camera.
A small selection of these images you can see below… do not hesitate to let me know what you think…

For over 2 years now I have been photographing with Fujifilm and my favorite camera is the X-Pro2. I was curious about the possibilities and the experience to shoot with the GFX system. In terms of the images/files coming out of this camera/sensor, these are just superb and ideal to photograph portraits. So I am completely sold on that. But the look and especially the feel/handling of the camera were, to my surprise, a bit disappointing. The camera is heavy and bulky, that is understandable but the operation is just not my thing. So I am already looking forward to the other option in the Fujfilm line-up that is coming, the GFX 50R. Hopefully there is also a possibility to test and compare that camera, given that I do have a soft spot for a medium format camera.
